What Is VaultShield? How RealmVault Escrow Protects Every Trade

VaultShield holds buyer funds until delivery is confirmed — here is how escrow, disputes, and payouts work on RealmVault.

What Is VaultShield?

VaultShield is RealmVault’s buyer protection escrow. When you buy a gaming account or digital asset, your payment is held securely until delivery is confirmed — not released to the seller the moment you check out.

That single rule is what separates a protected marketplace from risky peer-to-peer trades.

Why gaming trades need escrow

Gaming accounts and digital goods cannot be tracked like a physical package. Without escrow, buyers wire money and hope credentials work. Sellers worry about chargebacks after an honest delivery.

VaultShield sits in the middle:

  1. Buyer pays through RealmVault checkout
  2. Funds are held under VaultShield
  3. Seller delivers credentials or inventory
  4. Buyer reviews the order
  5. Funds release to the seller when the order completes under the VaultShield timeline

Never pay a seller outside RealmVault for a listing you found on the platform. Off-platform payment voids the protection stack.

What buyers get

  • Payment security after checkout
  • Time to test access before confirming
  • In-app messaging for delivery questions
  • A path to open a VaultShield dispute while the order is still eligible
  • Refund or release decisions based on evidence — not chat screenshots alone

If something looks wrong, pause confirmation, message the seller in-order, and open a dispute with clear evidence rather than releasing funds early.

What sellers get

  • Confidence that serious buyers have already paid
  • Payout eligibility after successful delivery and order completion
  • A dispute freeze instead of an instant chargeback surprise when something is contested
  • Clear commission and wallet rules on the fees page

Seller proceeds become available according to order status and VaultShield release rules. Withdrawals then follow your connected payout method.

Disputes, evidence, and decisions

Either party can escalate while the order is eligible. Strong evidence usually includes:

  • Listing screenshots vs. what was delivered
  • Login / access test results
  • Order message timeline
  • Delivery method details (instant inventory vs. manual handoff)

Stay responsive in the dispute thread. Missing replies delay decisions.
