Avoiding Disputes as a Seller on RealmVault
Practical listing, screenshot, delivery, and communication habits that prevent VaultShield disputes before they start.
Avoiding Disputes as a Seller on RealmVault
Most disputes are preventable. They usually come from mismatched screenshots, vague claims, slow delivery, or pressure to confirm early. This guide is the seller playbook for staying out of the dispute center.
If a dispute does happen: Evidence that helps.
1. Make the listing boringly accurate
- Title and attributes must match screenshots
- Disclose region, platform, and delivery method clearly
- Do not imply “maxed / OG / heirloom” without proof
- Update or pause when inventory changes
Buyers compare listing vs. reality. That comparison is the core of most dispute evidence.
2. Treat screenshots as a contract
Screenshots should show the exact unit you will deliver. Cropping out bans, wrong ranks, or missing cosmetics is how refunds happen.
3. Pick the right delivery method
- Use instant only with ready inventory (inventory setup)
- Use manual when you need time — and reply quickly
- Never promise a speed you cannot hit
4. Communicate on-platform only
Keep handoff details in RealmVault order messages. Asking buyers to pay or finish off-platform:
- Removes VaultShield protection
- Looks like fraud
- Damages VaultScore™ and selling privileges
5. Do not rush confirmation
Buyers should test before confirming. Pressure tactics (“confirm now or I cancel”) create distrust and worse dispute outcomes.
Explain calmly what was delivered, then let VaultShield’s review window work.
6. Fix small issues early
If you delivered the wrong unit or a detail is off:
- Acknowledge in-order
- Offer a real correction when possible
- Cooperate with support if escalated
Silent sellers lose disputes they could have resolved.
